Helping direct marketers grow ... profitably.
The Mark Lee Group was founded in January, 2007 by a veteran catalog and web marketer with 29 years in the industry — and a track record of successfully growing smaller organizations.
Prior to launching his marketing consulting practice, Mark was VP of Sales and Marketing at International Auto Parts — a Virginia-based automotive accessories business comprised of three groups: AutoSport, DrivingComfort and International Auto Parts. During his 9-year tenure, this cataloger expanded into web and email marketing. The company showed a profit each year, with solid growth and a healthy balance sheet.
Previously, Mark spent 13 years as VP of Marketing (promoted to SVP) at Crutchfield Corporation. Mark and the team he built overcame numerous obstacles to growth, and during the time he was in charge of marketing, the company grew 11-fold. Crutchfield is now one of the country’s largest and most respected catalog and web marketers.
Earlier, Mark gained catalog experience as Manager of Corporate Development for Fingerhut Corp., and as Circulation Manager for both Foster & Gallagher and Figi's, Inc.
Mark is a regular judge for MultiChannel Merchant's Catalog Awards, having served in both Print and Electronic categories, and is a multiple presenter at the ACCM and New England Mail Order Association Catalog Conferences. His articles have been published in trade journals such as Catalog Success and Catalogue/e-business (UK). Mark has taught seminars for the DMA, and has guest-lectured at Ohio University and the University of Virginia.
Mark Lee received his MBA in 1977 from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, after earning a bachelor's degree in General Studies from Ohio University.
